Shift Supervisor (National)

We are seeking Shift Supervisor (National) based at OT mine site. Job purpose: Lead and coordinate the activities within the workshop and within the service operation, oversee employees working within this area to ensure maximum levels of productivity to meet required deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.   All employees and workers are required to conduct themselves in accordance with our EHS Vision to achieve Zero Harm to; our people, the environment we work in, our customers and our suppliers.   The employee must comply with all aspects of the Sandvik Environment, Health and Safety Policy, and any reasonable instructions, procedures or systems of work which are given in the interest of providing safe workplaces and eliminating environmental harm by aligning with the Sandvik 2030 sustainability targets. Build a resilient and agile team, able to create a culture of innovation and continuous Deliver solutions that will serve customer needs and drive an exceptional customer service Maintain current business activities Actively pursue opportunities for growth Actively work with manager, supporting staff and customer Actively promote the company by conducting business in an ethical manner Contribute to achieving revenue and profit targets Monitor and maintain ZBB budget Work within financial authority levels and carry out work according to set budges and timeframes Monitor projects / jobs to ensure compliance with costing and time schedules including bill of materials, commissioning schedules, equipment, and sequences of operation Supervise, maintenance and fault diagnostic work on heavy duty plant equipment as per the appropriate site polices Supervise and manage resource utilization and resource planning Provide relevant feedback to enable maintenance planning improvements in terms of efficiency and equipment integrity Input in short term and long-term planning Carry out job safety audits Commissioning of new units Involved in new product implementation and feed back Carry out detailed audits on customer machines Report and, or rectify unsafe facilities and practices Supervise employees reporting to this role and those involved in the new starter area inductions Compile and maintain all relevant reports both internal and of the client Undertake self-training and development as required and or directed by your manager      

Safety Advisor

Now we are looking for someone with the passion for their trade and a strong focus on customer satisfaction to take this role forward.   We are hiring a Safety Advisor x 1 based at OT mine site. Job purpose: To create a working environment that maintains and improves employees’ general health and safety awareness and culture to where people are continually learning and growing and contributing to the Company’s success. Overall responsibilities are to contribute and maintain all the company’s Health and Safety’s policy and procedures in conjunction with management team, to support and work with Project Manager and supervisors to manage members of the workforce adhered to company’s OHSE policies and procedures.    Key performance areas:  Collaborate with colleagues and other company employees including managers and supervisors to identify and correct potential safety and health hazards. Implement the Company’s OHSE Management System. Develop and maintain Company’s risk registry plus conduct quarterly audits. Advise OHSE guidelines to Managers, Supervisors, and colleagues. Endorse and promote monthly OHSE theme. Update OHSE training programs and present when required. Improve and embrace the Company’s safety culture. Manage OHSE Campaigns with utmost professionalism. Coach team members on all company’s safety aspects including CCC JHA and high-risk permits. Conduct regular safety interactions with personnel. Report any hazards or safety breaches in alliance with company's OHSE policies. Conduct regular CCVs in conjunction with monthly targets. Influence pre-start meetings. Create and update quality HSE material such as presentations training. Daily crew audits related HSE documents Identify requirements and facilitate hazard, risk management activities appropriate to level within the department (e.g., level 1 risk assessment, hazard assessment, level 2 risk assessment) Daily, weekly, and monthly work area inspection/observation within organization, on and offsite locations Prepare and deliver good quality HSE reports as per Customer and Sandvik standards. Review safety reports both internal and external and discuss any impact/learnings these may have with the mobile maintenance teams. Monitor application of HSE systems as per OT standards Coach service crews in terms of HSE procedures, standards, and practices. Follow and update knowledge and inform to related parties on the legislation of Mongolian and the safety standards. Report day to day work process to relevant line leaders regarding safety events Conduct and support incident investigations and prepare related documents. Ensure customer and Sandvik investigation procedures are followed. Reviews findings from inspections, observations, audits, and other activities designed to improve HSE. Reviews lessons learnt/alerts to identify the potential for incidents occur and take proactive measures to prevent it. Ensure the ways of delivering HSE related information throughout the crews are up to standards. Provide Underground orientation as per customer standards and conduct White hat VOC. Plans and implements safety policies, programs and practices that have significant scope beyond the immediate work area.

Safety Officer

Overall responsibilities are to contribute and maintain all the company’s Health and Safety’s policy and procedures in conjunction with management team, to support and work with Project Manager and supervisors to manage members of the workforce adhered to company’s OHSE policies and procedures.     Key performance areas:  Collaborate with colleagues and other company employees including managers and supervisors to identify and correct potential safety and health hazards. Conduct regular safety interactions with personnel and ensure safe workplaces for all personnel and all personnel are complying to site PPE requirements. Report any hazards or safety breaches in alliance with company's OHSE policies. Conduct regular CCVs in conjunction with monthly targets. Plans and implements safety policies, programs and practices that have significant scope beyond the immediate work area. Ensure all required data is collected and paperwork filled in accurately. Attend Meetings as required. Perform other duties assigned by the direct Manager
